During the last Wednesday of September, we invite you to a QUEER CINEMA evening that is going to move documentaries towards a funnier side: a double feature exploring queers in comedy and stand-up fields throughout the 20th and 21st centuries. We’ll start with Outstanding: a Comedy Revolution (2024) - a documentary that sheds light on why there used to be so few openly queer people in entertainment industry in the past and how we can now have events that consist of openly queer entertainers. For our second feature we’ll show exactly that - Stand Out: an LGBTQ+ Celebration (2022) - a stand up special that consists of openly queer comedians.
