It can be challenging to find one's place in a world where understanding and support are not guaranteed, but we believe in creating hope and safe environments together through activism.
The discussion is organized by the University Chaplaincy in Uppsala with panelists Ken Gacamugani and Peter Andersson, who will share their experiences on queer activism, focusing on LGBTQ rights, spirituality, and existential health. The moderator is Linnea Lampa Kurkkio, a deacon in the Church of Sweden and active in LGBTQ work.
KEN GACAMUGANI Gacamugani is a freelance content creator, podcaster and model. In his podcast Sex och fördom he talks about different subjects like: Can you be both queer and religious?
PETER ANDERSSON is a spiritual caregiver, counselor, wiccan and a witch. He holds a degree in educational science and a bachelor's degree in religious studies from Uppsala University.
The event is open to everyone, regardless of religion or worldview.
