Unleash Yourself with Gladness (UYG) was founded in 2021 by Gladness Yanquoi, a visionary author, international speaker, and advocate for women’s empowerment. Gladness’s journey to founding UYG is deeply personal and inspiring. After experiencing domestic abuse in a previous marriage, she found the courage to leave, embarking on a transformative path of personal development and mentorship to rebuild her life.

Her experiences led her to write two impactful books: “Your Business Plan”, a practical guide for entrepreneurs, and “Queen Unleashed”, which inspires women to rediscover their power and purpose. Gladness’s dedication to helping others also made her a sought-after speaker on topics such as personal development, business strategy, and overcoming adversity including domestic abuse.

Motivated by her journey and the stories of countless women facing similar challenges, Gladness established UYG to provide resources, support, and empowerment for women reclaiming their lives. The organisation aims to be a beacon of hope, helping women unleash their full potential and live lives of purpose and fulfilment.

Our Impact and Milestones

Since its incorporation, UYG has:

• We have Supported numerous women in Kent and surrounding areas on their journeys of healing and growth.
• Established transformative programmes, including Queens’ Brunch, Queen Unleashed Course, and Safe Cycle, a supportive network for regular meetups. We also have our mentorship programme, Rise Above for continuous hands-on support, Queens' Vision Masterclass and Queens Vision Masterminds for group work and accountability.
• Contributed actively to the Domestic Abuse Forum in Kent, advocating for survivor-focused policies and community initiatives.
