Queen's Park Heritage Walk

A guided walk round the Park, looking closely at evidence of its history and development, closely linked to the Railways and Crewe works.
About this Event

This guided walk traces the history and development of the Park from its 1888 opening to the present day. Reference to Victorian planners, four Custodians and their lasting input provides an insight into the close links to Crewe’s development. Throughout, the tour demonstrates the importance of the Park as a vital green space and how it lives up to its accolade as “the jewel in Crewe’s crown”.
