Queenie is playing a special Record Store Day set at Desert Highways Record / Skate Store — and it’s free, all ages, and kicks off at 2pm!On a serious upward run, Queenie is a genre-blurring Australian songwriter with powerhouse vocals and razor-sharp songwriting. Her 2024 debut album New Moult debuted at #19 on the ARIA Charts and #3 on the AIR Independent Charts, earned national airplay across Double J and Triple J, and helped land her two 2025 AIR Award nominations. This year she also took home an APRA Professional Development Award, marking her as one of the country’s most exciting emerging artists.
A magnetic live performer, Queenie has already appeared at festivals including Beyond The Valley, Queenscliff Music Festival, Party In The Paddock, PANAMA, Port Fairy Folk Festival and the Australian Open, and recently sold out her Northcote Social Club album launch. With her Spotify audience growing more than 400% year-on-year and new music on the way, this Record Store Day show is a rare chance to catch her up close.
