The Cash Box Kings are a renowned American blues band, co-led by harmonica virtuoso, Joe Nosek, and powerful vocalist, Oscar Wilson. They deliver authentic, raw Chicago-style blues from the 1940s/50s with a modern, witty twist, blending classic sounds with fresh energy and acclaimed for their "house-rocking" performances, original tunes, and mastery of traditional blues forms, making them "the real deal" in contemporary blues. And on this Valentine's Day, the Kings also bring their Queen... Lee Kanehira, hails from Tagawa, a coal mining city in South Japan. A classically-trained pianist, Queen Lee fell in love with the blues after graduating from music college, and taught herself to play and sing.
The Fharmacy's kitchen is OPEN during Saturday evening performances until 9 pm. No cover charge; no carry-in food or beverages are allowed. #tyranenalivemusic
