Quassaick Creekfest at Crystal Lake
About this Event
Join us for Quassaick Creekfest at Crystal Lake, a free community celebration bringing Newburgh together for a day of nature, discovery, outdoor adventure, and connection at Newburgh Sanctuary. Part of our We Love Crystal Lake Celebration series.
Spend the day exploring the beauty and biodiversity of the Quassaick Creek watershed through hands-on activities for all ages.
Throughout the day, enjoy opportunities to kayak on Crystal Lake with Newburgh Waterways Center, learn about fishing with Brain and Body Coalition, hike with Outdoor Promise, and explore our local ecosystem alongside Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies and the Greater Newburgh Parks Conservancy EJ Fellows Program, participate in the AquaBlitz, led by the Quassaick Creek Watershed Alliance and Scenic Hudson, and discover the aquatic and terrestrial life that calls our watershed home.
More than anything, Creekfest is a chance to share experiences with neighbors, spend time in nature, and celebrate the land and water that connect our community.
FREE + open to the community. All ages are welcome.
Come for an activity or spend the whole day with us. Bring your family, invite your neighbors, and experience Crystal Lake in a whole new way.
