Get ready for an exciting night of fun and fantastic deals! Join us for a Quarter Auction Fundraiser on October 9th, 2025, at 6:00 PM at the Clayton Civitan Club.A Quarter Auction is a unique and lively event that combines the excitement of an auction with the thrill of a raffle, all while supporting a great cause.
Here's how it works: Upon arrival, you'll purchase a numbered paddle for $10 -- each person can purchase a total of 2 paddles. Throughout the evening, various new items, gift baskets, and services donated by local businesses and individuals will be presented. When an item you're interested in is announced, you'll bid with quarters! Each item has a bid value, typically 1 to 4 quarters, depending on its retail value. You simply drop the required number of quarters into a bucket at your table and hold up your paddle. If your paddle number is drawn, you win that item for just pennies on the dollar!
Doors open at 5:30 PM for registration, paddle sales, and time to browse all the amazing items up for bid. The auction action kicks off promptly at 6:00, so you'll want to arrive on time to get settled. Bring your rolls of quarters, a few friends, and get ready for a fast-paced evening where every bid is a chance to win big while making a real difference.
Your participation directly supports Serve The Need in Johnston County programs such as: ADA accessible ramps for homeowners, food distribution, teacher gift cards, JCC Emergency Student Fund and MORE.
