Barky Pines Animal Rescue & Sanctuary is a truly special place right here in Loxahatchee, Florida—dedicated to saving animals who need it most.
Their mission is simple but powerful:
Rescue animals in need, Reduce pet overpopulation, Educate our community—especially our youth—on responsible animal care
They focus on rescuing unwanted, special needs, and senior dogs and farm animals—many who would otherwise be euthanized. Through love, behavioral training, and a home-style environment,
these animals get a second chance at life.
They go even further by:
• Matching dogs with seniors and veterans
• Providing sanctuary for elderly and disabled animals
• Offering low-cost veterinary care
• Supporting spay/neuter and TNR programs in Palm Beach County.
Their goal is to keep pets with their families and out of shelters whenever possible.
