Quality Time with PR Minds

PRSA SD-IC is hosting its annual community outreach event to help local nonprofits improve their PR and Communications efforts.
About this Event

This year's Quality Time with PR Minds event pairs PR professionals with local nonprofits for an evening of sharing PR best practices, learning about nonprofit challenges and coming up with tactics that can help these nonprofits succeed.

PRSA Members with at least five years of experience and from all backgrounds are welcome.

Cost: This is a free event. Nonprofit participants will be asked to provide a $50 deposit, which will be fully refunded after completing the event. In the event of a no-show, the deposit will be forfeited.

Time: The event begins at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23, at Better Business Bureau, Mountain West & Pacific Southwest, 4747 Viewridge Ave #200. Dinner and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

The program will include:

-Networking

-A guest talk from Crystal Page, Vice President of Communications at Prebys Foundation on the importance of strategic communications for nonprofits.

- PR and nonprofit professionals will team up for a 60-minute PR/Communications consultation.

At the conclusion of the event, participants are encouraged to exchange contact information and be open to fielding possible follow-up questions from the nonprofits.

Quality Time with PR Minds is a beloved event that allows PR/communications professionals an opportunity to use their expertise to help raise awareness for the impactful work happening in the region. This event also provides an opportunity for chapter members to network with other professionals in the sector.
