We will be hosting a benefit ride in honor of Chris & Loretta Quaglio. We will be raising funds to help with their medical expenses and cost of living.
On May 23rd, Loretta was hospitalized with what we believed to be a stroke. She was transferred to Indianapolis the next day where they ruled out a stroke. After extensive testing and being transferred again she was diagnosed with a rare condition Guillain Barre Syndrome. This is an auto immune disorder that affects the nerves mostly near your face. Loretta has proven to be strong willed and fight through this. She has dealt with numerous procedures, testing, and therapy and this will continue for the unforeseen future.
During this Chris was hospitalized as well for a stomach ulcer. This resulted in emergency surgery on July 13th. This was able to be repaired but led to the diagnosis of kidney disease. Chris has been in the hospital for almost a month while undergoing dialysis to get his kidneys working.
We would like to do this ride to help out with all of the expenses incurred through the hospital stays. Please join us in honoring and supporting this family.
