"Abortion Care and Reproductive Justice for Advocates and Providers" will create space to strengthen skills, share perspectives, and explore the practical and values-based dimensions of abortion access. Topics will include reproductive justice, values clarification, and care referrals.
Because abortion access and legal landscapes vary across communities, the event will also offer an opportunity to consider how providers and advocates can support patients who travel from areas where abortion care is restricted. Together, we’ll explore challenges, strategies, and ways to build more responsive and connected systems of care.
Our speakers bring practical knowledge from their work supporting patients, providers, and communities navigating the complex landscape of reproductive healthcare. Through engaging presentations and interactive discussion, our experts will share insights, tools, and real-world perspectives that attendees can bring back to their own practices and communities.
Whether you provide direct care, support patients and providers, or advocate for reproductive freedom, this event is an opportunity to learn, connect, and strengthen our collective work. We welcome attendees from Iowa, Illinois and beyond.
Event begins 9:00 a.m. and ends 3:00 p.m.
Location information available closer to event.
Coffee and refreshments will be available throughout the day, with continental breakfast and lunch provided.
