QPR Gatekeeper Training teaches suicide warning signs & implementation of the Question, Persuade, Refer model to support someone in crisis.
About this Event

This 90 minute training covers myths about suicide, warning signs of a crisis, common causes of suicidal ideation, and how to implement the QPR model to Question, Persuade, & Refer someone in need of support.

Here Tomorrow offers this training to the community on the first Wednesday of each month and encourages anyone interested in getting involved with suicide prevention, or anyone looking to learn more about how to support someone struggling with hopelessness, to join us for this training.

The training is led by our Outreach & Collaboration Coordinator at Here Tomorrow, Maia Savage, who is a Certified QPR Gatekeeper Instructor. She ensures a safe and comfortable environment for attendees to learn & practice difficult conversations without judgement.
