🧠QPR Suicide Prevention Training (Question • Persuade • Refer)
-QPR is a nationally recognized suicide prevention training that teaches anyone age 16+ how to recognize warning signs and respond when someone may be thinking about suicide. It functions much like CPR for mental health emergencies.
What You’ll Learn:
* How to recognize warning signs and risk factors for suicide
* How to ask direct, tough questions when someone is at risk
* How to persuade and refer someone to appropriate, life-saving resources
* How to become a “Gatekeeper”—someone prepared to step in and help during a mental health crisis
🚑 Narcan (Naloxone) Overdose Response Training
-This training teaches participants how to recognize an opioid overdose and safely administer Narcan (naloxone)—a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose and save a life.
Training Covers:
* Current data & trends on the opioid and fentanyl epidemic
* How to identify an opioid overdose or accidental poisoning
* What Narcan is and how it works in the body
* Step-by-step guidance on how to administer Narcan
* Best practices for storage, emergency response, and post-event support
💥 Each participant will receive two Narcan kits following the training.
