Qld’s inaugural Trail FestivalLaunch of the 2025 Trail Running Calendar
Some highlights of the day will include:
- the official launch of the Trail Running 2032 Brisbane Olympics and Paralympics campaign
- the physical sale of a trail calendar with photos of Qld trail runners (not fireman style sorry) with a photo for each month and that months events listed. Proceeds will go to a charity / Team TRAQ Development squad.
- several 'urban' trail races including
- a kids 1km run (fun run),
- an open 3km or 6km run (fun run),
- a Club relay (2 girls + 2 girls / 3km hot laps each / 1 team per club) and
- the Trails of Glory (Road vs Trail selected teams) race over 6kms.
- various Trail running workshops throughout the day i.e. running with poles, uphill/downhill running tips, strength & conditioning, safety on our trails, nutrition, and bush first aid to name a few ideas
- exhibits and sales by numerous trail running retailers, suppliers, coaches and other ancillary services
- Qld Trail Race exhibits
- Running Club displays
- Food trucks
