February 2025 is the Chinese New Year, and 2025 is Year of the Wood Snake. The archetypal meaning of Year of the Wood Snake. is Shedding Density. Shedding our skins, stepping into the Wise Self.
Snake is one of the most ancient creatures that were around in the dinosaur era and whom survived extinction. Maybe this year it becomes your Power Animal. Knowing your terrain well is key. Knowing yourself well is key. Feeling embodied in a very Wise way. Regaining your Youthfulness energy. Ability to rise up. Impulse to strike, coil, and becoming more aware of our unconscious reflexive natures, impulses in general may need to be more attention. What do we turn to in times of stress.
Skin issues, boundaries, protection, weight issues, our ability of letting go, comfortability and adaptable to change, this year has all the possibilities of amazing transformation and starting anew.
In this Qigong class we use mindfulness, breathing and exercises, movement and stretches and acupuncture pressure points to tap into the archetypal meaning of the Wood Snake, help align to the Year ahead.
