Join us for a Qigong Picnic in Killruddery Gardens to raise funds for the children of Gaza. The UN named Gaza ‘a graveyard for children’ back in November and things have sadly only intensified since then.
As we watch the unwatchable unfold on our screens, it’s hard not to be moved and it’s easy to feel frozen.
This event is about giving support and getting resourced.
Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice of movement and breath for more vitality and robust health. It’s simple and effective, suitable for all ages and body types and you’ll notice an immediate boost in energy.
You’ll also get to do a Taoist meditation to lift your mood and feel more happiness!
(No previous experience is necessary)
We’ll also have a sound bath with Chloe McHugh of Sonas Sounds ~ a beautifully crafted immersive experience created through the medium of sound for deep rest and restoration.
Bring your own picnic to share with family/friends and mingle with new folks, enjoying the idyllic surroundings of nature and the bird song. A real sanctuary for your senses.
Your ticket includes access to Killruddery Gardens and you’re free to ramble around these world renowned 17th century gardens for as long as you like! Discover the walled garden, the long ponds and there’s also a Faerie Woodland Village for kids.
Your donation will go to the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund who are currently providing critical aid through food parcels and medical missions to the children and families in Gaza.
Palestine Children's Relief Fund is a grassroots organisation that has a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator. This is the highest possible rating and indicates that the organization adheres to sector best practices and executes its mission in a financially efficient way.
€20 from your €23 donation will go directly to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, the remaining €3 is an admin/booking fee.
We can’t wait to welcome you to Killruddery Gardens, our goal is to raise €2000 - so please invite others to join you and spread the word!
