Qigong & Cookery Workshop
About this Event
As the vibrant, expansive energy of summer transitions into late September, our bodies naturally crave grounding, warmth, and balance. In Oriental Medicine, Autumn marks the beginning of the Metal element, a time centred on the lungs and large intestine, our organs of elimination and renewal.
Join hosts Sib and Nina for an immersive, holistic three-hour experience that fuses mindful, restorative movement with macrobiotic, plant-based cookery designed to prepare your body for the cooler season and winter months ahead.
What to Expect
1. Mindful Movement & Qigong
Clear stagnation and cultivate inner calm through Qigong—a practice of gentle, flowing movements and breathing exercises tailored to assist the Lung and Large Intestine energies, reduce stress, and strengthen your vital organ systems.
2. Seasonal Macrobiotic Cookery
Learn the principles of Autumn eating. Moving away from raw, cooling summer foods, discover how to nourish your body using warming, locally harvested UK produce, whole grains and root vegetables — foods that support lung and digestive health.
