Peterborough Nature Girls: Launch event

Nature Girls is a social group for all women interested in nature and the outdoors. Join us for a river walk on our launch in Peterborough.
About this Event

Nature Girls is a group for all women who enjoy nature and the outdoors to meet like-minded people, whilst spending time in nature. The is a launch event for activities in Peterborough. No prior knowledge about wildlife is needed for any Nature Girls activities, just an interest in being outdoors in nature.

Join Communities and Education Officer Rebecca Neal for a gentle autumn stroll along the river in Peterborough city centre. We will mostly just be chatting (!) but we might also do some wildlife identification along the way. We will start and finish at the wonderful Green Backyard community garden and will take some time on the session to look around. This is a perfect opportunity to help shape this new group and suggest activities that you would like to see in the future.

After the session, there is the option to head over to a nearby cafe for lunch or a coffee.. This is not an official part of the session, (nor is it funded)...just an extra chance to socialise!
