Qigong and Tai Chi at Springs Park

Welcome to Qigong in the Park! Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating Qigong session amidst the beautiful surroundings of Springs Park. Connect with nature, improve your breathing, balance and flexibility, while experiencing a sense of inner peace. Led primarily by Phyllis Hunter, certified qigong instructor and a senior student of Dr. Mindy Jaques, AP, DOM, of Healing Water Clinic ). Phyllis will guide you through gentle movements and breathing exercises to help you harmonize your mind, body, and spirit. Whether you're a beginner or experienced practitioner, all are welcome to participate in this outdoor event. Come and enjoy the benefits of Qigong in the fresh air! Occuring every Sunday morning at 9 am. (Barring holidays, AND Weather depending... it is Florida afterall. Dr. Mindy herself will periodically lead the class and she has decades of experience in qigong and the internal meditative arts. She is a practicing acupuncture physician, licensed herbalist, and doctor of oriental medicine here in St. Augustine at Healing Waters Clinic. Wuji Acupuncture – Dr. Mindy Jaques is an acupuncture physician and practitioner of integrative medicine in St. Augustine, Florida with a satellite office in Orange Park, Florida.

Tips: Please wear loose comfy clothes, flat soft soled shoes, and bring hydration and bug spray as needed, bring a yoga mat or folding chair, and a towel. Please let Phyllis Hunter or Dr. Mindy know if you have any medical concerns and she will work with you to adjust the activities accordingly.

REGARDING DONATIONS: All donations received for the class get put into a special savings account, to be used on various special qigong and taichi related events sponsored by Dr. Jaques, such as World Tai Chi and Qigong Day and her Beach Qigong Days; for the cost of reserving pavilions, buying waters and snacks for the participants, park fees, etc. So the donations go back into the class for the benefit of all the participants.

Waiver: By signing up and participating in these classes, the participant waives all liability from any injury or illness, physical, mental or emotional, resulting or perceived to result from said participation; towards Phyllis Hunter and Mindy Jaques, AP, their assistants, heirs, and assigns, now and forever.
