Qi Gong is an ancient practice which combines breathing techniques with physical exercises.
Qi Gong can be used as a complementary treatment for various common ailments. Practicing Qi Gong can help to improve overall health and wellbeing and reduces mental and physical stress.
In this session we'll learn a 5 element flow, when we practice with all five elements it brings a sense of balance to the body and mind. Although Qi Gong is usually practiced from a standing position, all of these moves can be adapted to do from a chair.
This is a FREE Taster session, before weekly sessions start on 11th November. Our FREE Taster takes place Wednesday 4th November 11-11.45am. This is being held in Annotspace, the beautiful Yurt in Charlestown, Fife. There's the option to pay £1 for the session, this goes into our pay it forward fund, helping to fund our reduced rate spaces for sessions - making wellbeing more accessible.
There is a FREE Nia taster session in the same venue at 9.30am - feel free to come to both. We will also have some hot drinks and snacks between the two classes - you might like to come early and have a wee chat before the class begins.
