Meet-up for Parents and Carers of Neurodivergent Children and Young People

👉 Are you a parent or carer of an autistic or ADHD child or young person?
Perhaps you are navigating the challenges of getting the right support, dealing with school or education services, or simply trying to make sense of a system that can sometimes feel overwhelming.
👉 You are not alone:
We are hosting a peer support group where parents and carers can come together to share experiences, talk openly, listen to others who understand, and offer mutual support in a welcoming and non-judgemental environment.
Whether your child has a diagnosis, is awaiting assessment, or you suspect they may be neurodivergent, you are welcome.
👉 The group offers an opportunity to:
Meet other parents and carers who may understand what you are experiencing.
👉 Share experiences, concerns and practical ideas:
* Discuss the challenges of accessing appropriate support at home, at school and in the wider community.
* Learn from one another and help reduce the feeling of facing these challenges alone.
* You do not have to speak or share anything you are uncomfortable with.
* You are welcome to come along, listen and get to know others at your own pace.
👉 Who can attend?
Parents and carers of neurodivergent children and young people, including those who are autistic, have ADHD, have other neurodevelopmental differences, are awaiting assessment, or are not yet formally diagnosed.
👉 Our aim is simple:
to create a supportive space where parents and carers feel heard, understood and less alone.
