QED-C Regional Connect: Arizona

Join local leaders, students, professionals in quantum and associated industries for a night of informal networking and learning.
About this Event

Regional Connect is a networking event that gives local business leaders and policy makers the opportunity to meet with professionals currently working in the quantum ecosystem, ask questions, and share ideas. Talent Connect is a thematic space within Regional Connect designed primarily for students, faculty, and businesses to learn more about what it means to work in and work with the quantum industry.

About Regional Connect

Regional Connect: Arizona is an evening reception hosted by QED-C during its separate conference, QX by QED-C. The event brings Arizona leaders from research, business, investment, workforce, economic development, public service, and the university community with their peers from around the country who are attending QX.

The evening is built around relationships: who should know each other, what work is already happening, and where stronger connections could help Arizona’s quantum and adjacent industries grow.

We expect a lively mix of QX participants and invited Arizona guests, with brief remarks, regional networking, and an Arizona Talent Connection for local students to learn more about potential careers in (and adjacent to) quantum.

About Talent Connect

Talent Connect: Arizona is an evening opportunity for local students and faculty to learn more about careers and employers engaging in the work that advances and supports quantum 2.0 both within the state and in the broader United States.

Brought to you by our Talent Connect sponsor, IonQ, and organized by QED-C's Workforce TAC, as an initiative to give students opportunities to hear from experienced professionals doing the work to bring quantum technologies to commercial reality right now.

Registration for this event does not include registration for QX by QED-C, the convening to identify, coordinate, and start collaborating on the challenges addressing the quantum 2.0 and adjacent sectors. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and network with QX attendees during the reception.

Thank you to our Regional Connect & Talent Connect: Arizona Sponsors, Arizona Commerce Authority & IonQ!
