Coffee, java, cup-of-joe, jitter juice, rocket fuel... whatever you want to call that cup of goodness, we love it! If you love it too, then the Java Jog 2k & 5k is the event for you! Come and enjoy this fun, coffee-themed run @ The scenic Case Creek Trails overlooking Case Creek Valley on Sunday, Oct 4 th! After the sun rises at 8:30 a.m. you`ll embark on a breathtaking route through pastures and woodlands throughout the beautiful Case Creek Valley!In partnership with to be determined, each participant gets a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate after the run / walk. There will be multiple aid stations on the course, but the VANILLA ICED COFFEE station is bound to be your favorite! You probably won't mind the donuts at the nutrition table either!
Your participation means more than just a great workout; it supports The Rock Island County Animal Care & Control Shelter through QC PAWS, directly aiding in the care they provide to their animals.
“This is a fun run, meaning it will not be timed,” which means the focus is on enjoying the experience and participating, not on achieving a fast time; everyone can run or walk at their own pace without worrying about their finish time. Your time won’t be recorded, so you can walk, jog , or run as you please. The main goal is to have fun and participate, not to compete for the fastest time. Suitable for people of all fitness levels, from beginners to experienced runners.
