Qawsain Knowledge House Family Field Day & Dinner Fundraiser
About this Event
Qawsain Knowledge House is the only Muslim-accredited elementary, middle, and high school in Vancouver, British Columbia, offering both the BC curriculum and Islamic education. For years, the school has operated out of a very small retail space and later expanded into an adjacent unit, but its facilities are no longer sufficient for its growing student population.
The school has a unique opportunity to acquire a property just down the street from its current location—a larger building with additional land that would allow immediate expansion and future development. The goal of this fundraiser is to raise the deposit needed to secure this next chapter for Qawsain and investing in the future of Islamic education in British Columbia.
Qawsain has grown from a small community school serving a handful of students into a thriving institution educating dozens of Muslim children each year. The school’s graduates, families, and educators are helping build the future of the Muslim community in Vancouver.
This fundraiser is not simply about purchasing a building—it is about creating a permanent home for future generations of students to learn, grow, and thrive in an environment that combines academic excellence with Islamic values.
By supporting this campaign, donors will be investing in a project that will benefit children, families, and the broader community for years to come.
Rather than hosting a traditional evening-only fundraiser, the event will begin with a family-friendly Field Day that brings together students, parents, alumni, and community members in a fun and engaging environment before transitioning into the formal fundraising program.
