About this Event
Join us for a new line up of beautiful Victorian and Colonial homes with a fire in the hearth and and fresh greenery on the mantle.
The 2024 tour will feature eight historic homes representing a wide range of Colonial, Victorian and turn of the Century Craftsman style architecture including the Walter T. Wright Victorian home 1893, bedecked by the family in a whimsical "Gnome" theme.
Godwin House built in 1818 which joined the tour this year, is a beautiful example of Federal and Greek revival architecture with 5 fireplaces and hand carved mantels. The Bordley House, 1805, also new to the tour this year, is known for its grand divided stair and handsome through hall. All original details include floors, mantels, woodwork & 5 fireplaces.
A favorite on the tour is the Wharf House 1771 was the largest and most grand of the colonial homes in Queen Anne's County
After visiting the sites homes on the tour stop for a while at Queen Anne's County Artisan's Fair "Heck with the Malls" for a wonderful annual tradition featuring local artists and craftsman.
Join us in historic Centreville for hot cider, caroling, period dressed docents and a day from holiday's past.
