Have you ever wanted to know what it takes to create your own comic? Or even how to get published? Join us on Saturday to join in Q & A with the Founders and Creators of On the Fly Comics! Their story
When Matt “Mad Cat” Case, Vince Rush and Mark Melton decided to take on the daunting task of creating a 30 page comic in 10 hours, On The Fly Comics was born. That’s right! 30 pages in 10 hours. The result? Hyperia issue #1!
Matt, Mark and Vince all had 10 pages each. Do the math and cry with us. Yes 1 page an hour had to be completed to stay on top of the challenge. It was so fun that when it was over they looked at each other and knew Hyperia had to see print. Since Hyperia #1 was what created “on the fly” well…the rest is history. Vince whipped up our logo and the boys haven't stopped creating since!
You can also find them both days in Artist Alley on the stage in the Elks Lodge basement where they have been for the last two years!
