Python Essentials 1 Learning Circle

Python is a computer programming language used by startups and tech giants alike, including Google, Facebook, Netflix and more.

A learning circle is a study group, guided by library staff, for people who want to take a free online course together in a supportive and welcoming environment.

In this six-week learning circle, we will work through dedicated course content together. The Python Essentials 1 course from the OpenEDG Python Institute teaches in-demand computer programming skills, including how to design, develop, and improve computer programs using the Python programming language.

We will meet in-person every Tuesday evening, July 9 - August 20, 6-7:30 PM at the Oakwood Village library.

Participants are expected to commit to the duration of the course and attend all learning circle sessions.

Learners who complete the course will be able to:

• earn a digital badge
• download a certificate of completion
• receive a 20% discount for the PCEP certification exam
