Pythia of the Brush and Pen, an illustrated talk by Caroline Wise, tracing a line of women esoteric artists and writers, including Moina Mathers, Pamela Colman Smith and Florence Farr, as a link in an Isian chain of Priestesses into the 20th century, with Olivia Robertson,  Ithell Colquhoun and Steffi Grant. 

Caroline has contributed to several books on Goddesses, Mythic London, Austin Spare, and ghosts. In the late 1980s, she initiated the re-publishing of Kenneth Grant’s books along with previously unpublished works, and the production of Florence Farr’s Egyptian themed plays at the Rudolf Steiner Theatre in 1993. Through the 1990s she produced the Wildwood Conferences, looking at the connections between Folklore, modern paganism and landscape, and she produced Goddess conferences in London for the Fellowship of Isis.  Her main magical interests are Goddesses, as well as landscape and its myths as grimoire.   She currently works with Starfire Publishing and Goddess Enchantment and Priestess Training.
