Pysanka Egg Decorating Workshops

Come learn a traditional craft with the Museum of Art on Friday, April 4!

Led by local artist Lesia Sochor, participants will learn about the history and techniques of pysankarstvo, the Ukrainian art of egg decorating using wax and dye. The workshops will be held in two sessions, the first from 10AM to 12PM and the second from 1:30PM to 3:30 PM. All sessions are being held in the Muskie Archives, not the Museum of Art.

All participants must register in advance. General admission is $8. Bates Students can participate for free, but must still register as space is limited to 20 artists per session!
