The content in this module will inform teachers what emotional literacy is and how to implement teaching it. Teachers will learn different strategies for teaching about emotions in their classrooms and how important it is to teach children about their emotions.
Training Objectives:
1 . Participants will understand the importance of teaching emotional literacy.
2 . Participants will reflect on their practices in the classroom around teaching emotional literacy.
3 . Participants will implement strategies and practices to promote identifying emotions in the classroom.
Each professional development session offered by The Children’s Cabinet utilizes a knowledge check to ensure that our participants understand our training objectives and our instructors are providing a comprehensive learning experience. You can expect to receive a three question quiz or test at the end of each training.
