About this Event
Description
Put It Down: Rest as Resilience and Release
In honor of National Black Girls Day Off, join us for a sacred self-care gathering dedicated to slowing down, reconnecting with ourselves, and remembering that our worth is not tied to productivity.
This event is designed to give you space to breathe, release, and restore. Together, we’ll explore the theme “Put It Down” — letting go of the weight we carry, embracing rest as resilience, and making space for renewal.
What to Expect
Welcome & Grounding – A soft opening with breathing and reflection to set the tone.
Rest + Community Reflection – Exploring the importance of rest and the power of community.
Mindfulness Activity – A creative coloring exercise to symbolically “put down” what no longer serves us.
Dialogue: You Are Not Your Productivity – A meaningful conversation on resilience, worth, and rest.
Affirmation Exchange & Circle of Rest – Closing the gathering with collective affirmation, connection, and release.
