PUSHLOOP - Heavy Traffic Recordings, Deep Dark & Dangerous
From late night renegades in the Santa Cruz mountains to dark, sweaty nightclubs, Pushloop has spent the better part of a decade flexing soundsystems with a commanding presence. Inspired by artists like Mala, Truth, The Widdler, and Kryptic Minds, Pushloop has carved out his own unique sound blending world music elements with deep, heavy basslines.
Since emerging from the studio with his first release on the Bay Area's infamous Mallabel, Pushloop has become a regular on heavy-hitting labels like Dank N Dirty Dubz, Deep Dark and Dangerous, ShadowTrix Music, and Heavy Traffic Recordings. Over the years Pushloop has showcased a variety of sounds, ranging from deep, melodic EPs like Midnight Wax and George Orwell, to more experimental, leftfield bass releases such as Too Much Tuna and Loose Wires.

ROOMMATE - Heavy Traffic Recordings, Avocaudio
Roommate (Justin McCauley) is a California-based producer, DJ, and longtime force in the global bass music underground. With more than two decades of touring and countless original releases, he has built a reputation for pushing dubstep, dub, jungle, reggae, dnb, trip-hop, funk and experimental bass into unexpected territory.
A guitarist since age 11, Roommate developed his signature sound by combining organic instrumentation with heavy electronic production. As dubstep began emerging in the U.S., he quickly became an early adopter and producer, eventually joining forces with longtime collaborator No Thing to form Babylon System. The project became an important part of the early American dubstep movement, with releases including “50 Blocks Away,” “Examination of Time,” and “Loaded.”
His influence also extends into the label world: he co-founded Hollow Point Recordings with SPL before launching his own imprints, King Dubbist and Avocaudio, providing outlets for forward-thinking music spanning dubstep, dub, jungle, reggae, trip-hop, and beyond.
Whether behind the decks or in the studio, his sound remains unmistakably his own—heavy, psychedelic, musical, and always moving forward.
