It is the first experience, the novelty of newness. It is when mystery is magic, rebellion is cool, the destination is the road. What is your way way back?
You are invited to PURR annual reunion event, a pre-burn, 3 days, 2 nights campout at the Prancing Unicorn. The event is a co-creation of all attendees within the guidelines of Burning Man and PURR principles. We do not produce a show for you to consume, rather we encourage participants to bring their contributions and offerings to the event and help shape the experience.
PURR pre-burn and decom events are also fundraisers for PURR development, an ongoing process of property improvements. This year's plan is to add a garage, a 30 to 40 ft covered space in the parking lot for vehicle repairs, van and RV conversions, as well as doubling as a covered outdoor stage for shows. For the Reunion, we will be bringing back the night market in this space.
Container:
1. Co creation (participation) - PURR does not produce a show. PURR only holds space for participants to come and share their gifts, whether it’s music, art, food, performance, knowledge, etc.
2. Gifting - there will be no vendoring. All exchanges will be based on the gifting principle. Gifts are considered natural expressions of yourself and are offered without expectations of receiving anything in return.
3. Parity (PURR Principle)- all gifts and participants are equal within the container. You are not worth more or less based on your gift. All add to the manifestation and magic of the event.
4. Accessibility (PURR Principle)- We will have various tier ticket prices to ensure accessibility, including low income tickets upon request ([email protected])
5. Kindness (PURR Principle) - Leave your snarks and sarcasm at the door. This is your opportunity to practice kindness. Please be kind with your words, thoughts, and deeds.
6. Respect (PURR Principle) - Be respectful of other people’s personal boundaries, property, land, animals and nature. This includes Leave No Trace as it applies to respect for the property, land and nature in general.
7. PURR fundraiser - Proceeds from this event goes to the development of PURR including expanding and stocking of our creative labs as well as property construction repair and maintenance so we can keep the space open and available for the community to use.

9. NO PETS! Please leave your pets at home unless authorized. We can make exceptions for owners who bring an RV and can keep pets there. Pets are not allowed in the lodge and must be kept on leash with the owner present at all times outside your RV.
CO-CREATION
PURR has been a hub for community, entertainment and creativity for the past 5 years. We are home for independently produced events such as Love Lab, EOS, and newly added Space Oasis, each one with its own organization, flavor and vibe.
PURR Reunion, however, is a time and opportunity for EVERYONE to come together and co create a shared experience. We open up the production process to all attendees and encourage you to participate in the co-creation.

The NIGHT MARKET-
We are setting up a night market at the Reunion. As we are practicing gifting culture at the event, there will be no monetary exchange. The intention of the Night Market is to create opportunities for gifting and informational exchanges in fun atmosphere. We welcome both imaginary and real vendors to set up booth, show off your goods/services and give out free samples. Real vendors can arrange for $$ exchange to be made offsite.
