Purple Tuesday is a global, social movement for improving the customer experience for people with access needs and their families 365 days a year.
There are 1.8 billion disabled people in the world, representing 17% of the population and our region is committed to ensuring that visitors with access needs receive the warmest possible welcome.
Join us on 12th November 2024 for Destination North East England’s annual Purple Tuesday event, at the wonderful Northern Stage, Barras Bridge, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 7RH.
Starting with networking over breakfast and hot drinks at 8:30am, the event officially kicks off at 9am with panel discussions from regional and national industry leaders such as Visit England, AccessAble, and Access and Inclusion UK.
