Family festival and pet adoption event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Join us for a family and pet-friendly festival and adoption event in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. We're celebrating healthy relationships of all kinds in our community! You can expect lots of:
Friends: Pasadena Animal Shelter brings many furry friends who need forever homes. But don't worry, your own fur babies are invited, too! Deck them out in purple swag and snap a family photo at our Paws for Consent puppy kisses booth. Just make sure your animals stay leashed at all times.
Fun: We'll have moonwalks, face painting, and other family-friendly activities and treats for all ages, as well as pet-themed vendors and community resources that offer services for families. Our friends at Break Free will be back again this year showing off their DJ skills.
Food: The Hidden Garden Tacos food truck will be selling delicious food. We'll have free water and refreshing drinks available from Starbucks.
The Bridge Over Troubled Waters, Inc. is a comprehensive crisis center serving survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Southeast Harris Co.
