Purple Door Luncheon 2026

Harbor House is excited to welcome you to our signature event, the Purple Door Luncheon at Rosen Shingle Creek on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 as we honor survivors and those working alongside them to prevent and end the cycle of abuse during Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Harbor House opened in 1976 as an unassuming home with a special purple door. A single knock could save a life because when the door opened, someone seeking a haven found it. Since then, we have opened our door countless times to women, children, men, and pets who needed shelter.
Today, Harbor House stands as Orange County’s only 24/7 state-certified domestic violence center, providing free services when they are needed most. Every time our door opens, we offer a fresh start to a life free from abuse and fear. We have grown to become the largest domestic violence shelter in Florida, recently expanding our capacity to accommodate 136 survivors.
Each October hundreds of supporters gather during Domestic Violence Awareness Month to bring attention to this issue, honor advocates, celebrate survivors, and remember those who lost their lives because of abuse. Harbor House’s Signature Purple Door Luncheon includes a special awards presentation for champions working to end violence in our community and on a national level.

Monies raised support our mission to stop the cycle of domestic violence by ensuring that every family member has the resources they need both in shelter and beyond.
Tickets are $105 per person or host a table of 8 for $750.
