There’s nothing like a summer evening Up North—and the Sunset Beach Bonfire Series brings it all together. Sink your toes into the sand, gather around a glowing bonfire, and watch the sky light up as the sun sets over Lake Michigan. With live music, warm fire, and cool water nearby, this is summer at its finest.
Bring your beach chairs and blankets and make an evening of it at Stearns Park Beach. Whether you come with friends, family, or just to unwind, these nights are made for slowing down and soaking it all in.
Join us June 25, July 30, and August 20, 2026, from 8–10 PM.

June 25 – The World Famous Scottville Clown Band
Known for its colorful attire and crazy antics, this band hails from Scottville, MI, with members from all over Michigan and 14 other states. "The Big Noise from Scottville" has entertained audiences for 124 years! The members are a very diverse group – some doctors, firemen, police officers, bankers, and realtors. This hilarious collection of talented musicians comes together many times throughout the year to share a passion for entertaining and strutting their stuff.
July 30 – Ravon - vocals & steel drum
Ravon Rhoden is redefining modern reggae. Raised in Montego Bay, Jamaica, his music bridges the roots of legends like Bob Marley and Dennis Brown with a bold, contemporary edge. As the first major reggae artist to feature steel drum alongside his vocals, Rhoden brings a sound that is instantly recognizable and impossible to ignore. Ravon is known for getting the party started by involving audiences in dancing on the beach!
August 20 – Tim Krause - guitar & vocals
Settle in for a relaxing night on the beach with guitarist and vocalist Tim Krause. A Michigan native, Krause blends a fresh perspective with classic favorites, inspired by the music of the ’70s. With two albums to his name and over 25 years of solo acoustic performances, his sound is both seasoned and easygoing. “It never gets old,” Krause says. “I love the connection with a live audience and giving people a small escape from everyday life.”
