Tara Check is one of Colorado's rising comedy voices, known for her honest, relatable storytelling about addiction, recovery, relationships, and the beautiful chaos of becoming a new mom. Drawing from lived experience, Tara transforms life's messiest moments into sharp, heartfelt comedy that leaves audiences laughing while feeling deeply connected. Since beginning stand-up in 2023, she's quickly become a favorite on stages across Colorado.

Expect an evening filled with quick wit, authentic storytelling, unexpected punchlines, and plenty of laughs.

The Karma House is a community-centered kava bar and gathering space dedicated to creativity, healing, and authentic connection. We're proud to be an LGBTQIA+ inclusive space where people from all walks of life can gather, build community, and enjoy unique experiences together.

We serve kava, a traditional ceremonial beverage from the South Pacific that has been shared in community for centuries and is known for encouraging relaxation and meaningful connection. Alongside kava, we offer herbal teas, lemonade, adaptogenic mushroom beverages, and a variety of other non-alcoholic drinks.
