Juan is a stand up comedian, writer and occasional nude model. His comedy is all about talking about seemingly small issues, like holes in the sourdough, out of season watermelons or soup, with the passion you would expect for much important topics.

He is a long time writer and performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and a former on screen talent for FLAMA, Univision's bilingual digital platform where his viral videos were viewed over 20 million times.

He has written for McSweeney's and his work has been featured in Time Out NY and The New Yorker.

He is the winner of the Riot Comedy Festival and the Comedy Mob Festival and he came out second place in the national Don't Tell Competition out of 3600 comedians.

He also participated in San Francisco Sketchfest, Laughing Skull Comedy Festival, Limestone Comedy Festival, Blue Whale Comedy Festival among many others.

He is originally from Uruguay (the other Paraguay).
