Can you believe that next year marks the 25th anniversary of the Purdue Night Train? Looking back, I can't help but smile at all the incredible memories we've shared – from those first lessons to the weekly Wednesday night dances, lindy bombs, exchanges, workshops, and, of course, the lifelong friendships forged on the dance floor.
As I stroll down memory lane, I can't help but feel a surge of excitement about reuniting with all of you. That's right, I'm thrilled to announce that we're putting together a spectacular alumni reunion dance to celebrate this milestone. And trust me, it's going to be the kind of reunion you won't want to miss!
As a new staff member here at Purdue, I've been fortunate to collaborate closely with our current club members to bring this reunion to life. We're pulling out all the stops to ensure it's a night filled with dance, nostalgia, and of course, an abundance of music through the night.
We're aiming to keep things simple yet meaningful, opting for DJ'd music to set the perfect vibe. If you were once behind the decks as a DJ for the club, we'd love to feature a set that captures the essence of your time with the Night Train. Let's relive those classic tracks together!
To accommodate everyone, we're planning to use rooms in the Stewart Center. And while we cherish memories with other clubs, this reunion is exclusively for Purdue Night Train alumni and their family.
But here's where I need your help: spread the word like wildfire! Tag your fellow Purdue Night Train alumni, whether or not you can make it yourself. Let's ensure no one misses out on this epic reunion.
