Purcell Club Musical Tour in Westminster Abbey

Highly sought after, the Purcell Club Musical Tour is a unique after-hours experience at Westminster Abbey that combines guided exploration of the Abbey’s historic sites with live sacred music performed by The Purcell Club, a group of former Abbey choristers. The two-hour tour highlights key locations such as the Quire, Poets’ Corner, and King Henry VII’s Chapel, with musical interludes ranging from the 16th to the 21st centuries. The tour offers an immersive blend of history, architecture, and choral artistry in the serene evening ambiance of the Abbey.

These musical tours take place ten times a year by kind permission of The Dean and Chapter of Westminster

The cost of the tour is £50pp. You will be given further instructions on how to secure your ticket and make payment when you confirm your ticket. We are doing it this way to ensure the cost remains as low as possible for you. We have a limited number of tickets, so please register your interest in a timely manner.

Mobility Restrictions - note from Purcell Club

Visitors to the Abbey need to be aware in advance that much of the Abbey floor and steps are uneven and that some areas may be dimly lit. There are several places on the tour where there are several flights of steps (some without steps) that need to be negotiated. Please ensure, therefore, that any of your members with restricted mobility are fully aware of this before committing themselves to joining your tour party.
