Puppy Basics Class

Give your puppy the best possible start with Pup Social’s Puppy Basics Training Workshop! This beginner-friendly class teaches the foundational skills every young pup needs to grow into a confident, well-mannered companion.

Our trainer will guide you through essential commands, positive reinforcement techniques, and solutions for common puppy behaviors. This workshop is perfect for new puppy parents looking to improve communication, establish healthy routines, and build a stronger bond with their pup.

All events are 21+ and require up-to-date Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella records. Dogs must be 4+ months, and dogs over 8 months must be spayed or neutered. For Puppies in attendance under 4 months we require proof of the first round of boosters, Bordetella & Distemper.

Luring behaviors and rocket recall: How to lure, shape, reward and cue sit and down. How to get your dog to come every time.

1. 9/19/26 CLASS 3

Place/stay, drop it, leave it and puppy nipping: How to stop unwanted behaviors and redirect.

1. 9/26/26 CLASS 4

Shaping new behaviors: instilling confidence and clear communication going forward.
