Mom Ish:The Experience
About this Event
Motherhood is rewarding, but it can also be demanding. Too often, Black mothers are expected to carry the weight of their families, careers, businesses, and communities without the time or space to care for themselves.
Mom Ish: The Experience was created to change that.
Hosted by the Black Mom Ish Foundation, this one-day conference is designed to educate, encourage, and connect Black mothers through meaningful conversations, expert-led workshops, and practical resources that support every aspect of life.
Whether you're navigating motherhood, building a career, running a business, caring for aging parents, raising teenagers, embracing an empty nest, or simply trying to find balance, you'll leave with new ideas, valuable connections, and a renewed sense of purpose.
Throughout the day, attendees will enjoy:
- Inspiring keynote speakers
- Interactive workshops on health, wellness, wealth building, parenting, leadership, and personal growth
- Honest conversations about the realities of Black motherhood
- Networking with women from across the region
- A marketplace featuring Black-owned businesses and community organizations
- Resources and tools you can immediately apply to your life
This experience is for every Black mom—new moms, seasoned moms, single moms, married moms, grandmothers raising grandchildren, bonus moms, foster moms, and women who nurture their families and communities every day.
You spend so much of your life pouring into everyone else. This is your opportunity to be poured into.
Come ready to learn, laugh, reflect, build relationships, and leave feeling seen, supported, and inspired.
Because when Black moms thrive, our families and communities thrive too.
