Puppies & Pilates comes to Massapequa Park — Saturday, October 10.
Join Kitten Paws and Downward Dogs and That's Hot Pilates for a gentle, all-levels mat Pilates class with adoptable puppies from BARRK Rescue making the rounds on the mats. Flow, laugh, get climbed on, and take as many puppy breaks as you need.
The puppies are the point. Every puppy in the room is a rescue and is looking for a home. BARRK Rescue brings the puppies, their pen and their volunteers, so you can meet, cuddle and start an adoption conversation right there.
Where the money goes. This class is held in BARRK Rescue's honour and the net proceeds go straight to them, scaled to seats sold. A full room means a bigger check.
THE DAY
- Saturday, October 10, 2026
- Class 2:30–3:30 PM · doors 2:15 PM for check-in and puppy time
- That's Hot Pilates · 1019 Park Blvd, Massapequa Park, NY 11762
- Pilates class led by the That's Hot Pilates team (mat class, kept mobile so the puppies can roam)
- All levels welcome · bring your own mat · ages 16+ (both carried from the Rockville Centre listing — confirm with Ella they hold at Massapequa; if not, edit here)
- Wear something you don't mind a puppy paw on
GOOD TO KNOW
- 18 spots. When it's sold out, it's sold out.
- Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable — send a friend in your place.
- Real puppies: expect a little chaos, a little noise and a lot of joy. The rescue's volunteers handle everything the puppies do.
