Punx in the Park
Punx in the Park is a youth resource festival presented by Punx with Purpose, with a mission to walk alongside youth to bring safety and belonging, to be seen, loved, empowered, and, more importantly, to bring them to their community.
Punx in the Park primarily serves youth 11-18; We are trying to show the youth that their community has their back!
However, PITP is a FAMILY FRIENDLY event!
NO DRUGS, NO BOOZE, NO DRAMA. It's been our thing, so please be respectful as this is a family fun event.
Whether you're a parent, guardian, or community member, everyone is welcome to come enjoy an amazing day of music, food, community, and connection while discovering the incredible resources available.
Youth 11-18 will get a wristband that will unlock amenities to enjoy, such as a meal ticket to get free goodies from 13 food trucks, including a drink, dessert, and a main meal; a clothing closet; haircuts; and much more, all for free for youth ages 11-18 who fill out our survey. There will be prizes for those youth who participate in our passport; these prizes may include skateboards, PITP swag, gift cards, and more!
5 awesome bands (voted on by the youth) will be playing as well:

There will be youth with lived experience speaking on stage as well as special guest Scary Strong John!
When: September 5th
Where: Salem Riverfront South lawns and amphitheaters
Time: 11 am - 6 pm
What to bring:
Cash for merch/food/donations if you choose to participate in these activities (card accepted at most spaces)
Cool clothing
Sunblock
Comfortable shoes
Good Mood
