You won't be able to catch your breath you'll be screaming so loudly! This star studded lineup will surely pack the house with like minded, power hungry audience members! Rat Sauce is on a meteoric rise, and has graced our stage more than ANY other band and it's for good reason. They don't just take the stage, they OWN it. Brash, in your face, and all fun, all the time! Their album Detention Deficit has garned national attention and with their viral release of My AI, this is just the tip of the iceburg. Don't miss the opportunity to see them in an intimate setting before you can't anymore! Leadpetal is bringing the power all the way from Bethlehem, cemented with a new lineup but the same hard hitting, grinding heavy music! Cherri Blu has a style that is indescribably unique, breathing new life into many genres of the past while retaining their core sound but put some punk, rock, and thought into a blender and the smoothie just might sound like their last album! Tammi Ward is DIY, NJ Garage, no wave music that exists for yours (and their) enjoyment! All told, this just may be the show of the summer and is NOT to be missed!
What is Rock Shack?
We are a live music venue that encourages creativity, expression, and original music. Our goal is to help give original bands a musician friendly space to strut their stuff in front of a welcoming audience.

Our venue is located inside the Somerville School of Rock building on the first floor. The street address is:

Parking:
The Rock Shack does not have its own parking lot. Do not park in the lot immediately behind our building as you may be ticketed or towed. There is street parking and several municipal lots immediately around the school. Municipal lots 1 and 2 are on the right and left side of Davenport St. just half of a block north of our venue. Rates are 50 cents per hour until 7 PM and free after that. You can pay at the Kiosk or via the Park Smarter app, https://www.parksmarter.com/. Street parking is metered and $1/hour until 7 PM, free after that.
Alcohol and drug policy:
We are an alcohol and drug free space. Please do not bring alcohol or drugs to a show or you will be asked to leave. Thank you for respecting our safe space and allowing everyone to thoroughly enjoy the music
Food and Drink:
While we do not serve alcohol, we do sell non-alcoholic drinks and pre-packaged snacks.
Hearing Protection:
Rock shows are LOUD!!! We will attempt to have on site free foam earplugs but please bring ear protection if you have it.

Bring it on!!! Please respect copyrights and give credit to artists as appropriate. Please tag bands, musicians, and the venue if you post on social media! However, if a particular artist asks that you not record, please respect that.
