Punchlines With Purpose benefiting The Crumley House

Laughter will take center stage this as The Crumley House Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center hosts its 17th Annual Fall Fundraiser, Punchlines With Purpose, on Saturday, Oct. 24, at the Holiday Inn Johnson City.
The evening will combine comedy, music, food and entertainment while raising vital funds to support individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries.
Festivities begin at 6 p.m. at the Holiday Inn, located at 101 Springbrook Drive. Guests are encouraged to dress in party casual attire for what organizers describe as a relaxed, fun-filled evening benefiting a life-changing cause.
Headlining the event is nationally recognized comedian Shawn Carter, whose debut comedy album, 100 Problems, reached No. 1 on iTunes and No. 7 on Billboard’s Comedy Chart. Carter later followed with his acclaimed release, Boston to Bristol.
In addition to live comedy, attendees can enjoy music from DJ Robbie, dancing, the return of the popular Wine Pull and Gift Card Pull, complimentary food and beverages including beer, along with a cash bar.
