East Petersburg is preparing for our Free Annual Pumpkin Festival on Saturday, October 12th, 2024. This free and family-friendly Pumpkin Festival will be taking place from 11:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., in the East Petersburg Community Park. About 200 free pumpkins will be available to children to decorate at the park.NEW!!! This year there is also a Chili Cook-off. If this is something you are interested in competing in, please reach out to [email protected]. Someone will respond with more details on this contest.
Food Trucks:
- Spud Muffin (Fresh cut fries, gourmet loaded fries, smash burgers, Nathan's hot dogs)
- DonutNV Harrisburg (Funnel cake doughnuts, lemonade)
The first 200 kids in attendance will receive free pumpkins(while supplies last) to decorate in the East Petersburg Community Park under the Pavilillion. Craft materials and paint will be provided.
In addition to pumpkin decorating, other activities of the day will include free attractions like; barrel train rides, hay rides, and a bounce house.
Food for sale will also be provided.
Our Pumpkin Festival is made possible and free, through the sponsorship of Lancaster Toyota, S. Clyde Weaver, Dinse Dental Care, Lancaster Toyota, Wayne's Towing and Gochnauer's Home Appliance Center and many others.
