About this Event
PULSE 2026 Conference Overview
From Plan to Action: Preparing Healthcare Leaders for Active Threats
PULSE 2026—Preparedness, Understanding, Learning, Safety in Emergencies—for expert insights, meaningful connections, and practical strategies to strengthen emergency readiness across healthcare settings.
Hosted by the Coalition of Community Health Clinics (CCHC)—a nonprofit network dedicated to strengthening safety-net clinics, advancing health equity, and improving access to care for underserved communities—PULSE 2026 brings together industry leaders, practitioners, frontline professionals, and innovators committed to sharing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and building resilient systems of care.
This year’s program prepares healthcare leaders to move from planning to action—strengthening operational readiness, rapid decision-making, and coordinated response during active threat events. Through expert guidance and a live tabletop exercise, participants will build the skills and confidence to lead effectively in high-pressure situations.
🔹 Operational Readiness for Active Threat Events
Move beyond written plans to real-world execution—clarifying roles, workflows, and immediate actions when an active threat occurs.
🔹 Leadership Under Pressure: Decision-Making in Seconds
Equip administrators and executive leaders with the skills to make rapid, informed decisions in high-stress environments where communication, coordination, and accountability are critical.
🔹 From Coordination to Action: Practicing the Response
Apply lessons through facilitated discussion and a live tabletop exercise—identifying gaps, strengthening coordination, and building confidence for real-world scenarios
Conference Format:
📅 Morning: Keynote speakers, expert-led sessions, and networking focused on preparedness, response, and recovery strategies.
📅 Afternoon (Half-Day Tabletop Exercise): Participants will engage in a facilitated, scenario-based exercise designed to test real-time decision-making, coordination, and problem-solving in a simulated emergency.
This hands-on experience reinforces key learnings from the morning and provides actionable strategies for implementation.
For applicable healthcare organizations, this exercise fulfills the CMS Emergency Preparedness tabletop exercise requirement.
Join us at PULSE 2026 to connect with peers, deepen your expertise, and strengthen your role in advancing emergency preparedness and response.
